DREAM GAME LEVELS
in case you were curious cos yeah.
KITCHEN
[ You walk through the door and . . . are suddenly in the kitchen of a house. It's pretty small -- the ceiling is only seven feet high at best. To the left is the sink area. To the right is the oven and stove. Behind you is a small refrigerator. In front of you is a kitchen table and a door. Something is ticking. ]
[ The sink is relatively plain. It has two basins, two dials (hot, hotter) and a spigot. It is made out of black iron. ]
[ The oven doesn't work. In fact, on closer inspection you can tell its fake. ]
[ Inside the refrigerator is a paper cut out of a cat. And a paper cut out of a wine bottle. ]
[ On the kitchen table are some paper cut outs of plates, silverware and food. The food cut outs are salad, steak and shrimp. ]
LIVING ROOM
[ The next room is the living room. There is nothing in here except --
On the wall to your right is an outline of a couch. Next to the couch outline is an outline of a phone. On the opposite wall is the outline of a television. Inside the outline of the television is a stick figure.
In front of you is another door. Behind you is the kitchen. ]
BEDROOM
[ This room is . . . well, it's actually two rooms. The right side of the room is a bedroom. There is a bedside table with two drawers, an unmade raised four-post bed, a window and a closet. The left side of the room is an exposed area of gears. There are also two exits -- a red door and a blue door. ]
GARDEN
[ The red door leads you outside to a garden. Except everything is made of wire. Green wire grass. Wire flowers. A wire fence. A sundial. ]
BASEMENT
[ The blue door leads you the basement of a house. The walls are wood painted to look like stone. On the right wall is a drawn smiling mouth, on the floor is a drawn frowning mouth and on the left wall is a drawn neutral mouth. ]
CAVE
FOREST
[ YOU END UP IN A FOREST. The ticking has stopped, replaced with music.
All around you are frozen wolves of different sizes and shapes and colors. There are even wolves in the air. Upside down wolves! Right side up wolves! Wolves in trees! Wolves in the grass. . . ]
If you touch the trees they actually dissolve into tiny tiny wolves ... each tiny wolf has a collar with a d-ring attached to it.
(> make a necklace of tiny wolves)
FALLING
STREET MARKET
--
A street market.
fruit stand, veg stand, meat stall
hard boiled egg stall
baby stall. with real babies.
BEING A GIANT
---
You're a giant. This world has 24 continents -- like stepping stones for you.
Pluck one of the three moons.
Play with the stars.
Make your own constellations.
ITEMS
• a large gear
- meant to go in the sundial!
(open the sundial and put in the large gear. The sun will rise and fall and the flowers will change.
Alt you can try to jimmy rig the sundial. This will bring out the planets. And music.)
• a small gear
- meant to go in the musicbox!
[ The small gear fits into the musicbox easily. Without warning the ballerina begins to turn. As she turns her arms wave up and down and some rather odd music comes out of the box. ]
• a clock key
- meant to go in the clock!
• a length of chain
- meant to go with the wolves!
• a pair of small wooden bird wings
- meant for falling!
• a pair of glass eyes
- meant to go in the mouths room!
Of course you could combine these in a lot of different ways. Doing different things in different orders in the kitchen brought about the different realnesses and so forth!
= You could jimmy the sundial with wire! In the same way you could jimmy a lot of the mechanisms with wire!
= interacting with any of the "people" objects could yield productive results. The stick figure, the doll, the girl on the phone.
= THERE WERE MORE CATS. I think there are 7 total in this world.
= the pool was MINTY FRESH . . . I just wanted to say that.
I don't actually have any real write up stuff to do 8|a
