QUESTION MEME

. . . yes. What it says. Will be picking at this all week while at work SO ASK ME EVERYTHING. It can be RP related, character related, OOC related if you like :B WHATEVER.

For Break, Acedia/Mukuro and Aeris! NPCwise I steer Beauty, Dream, Three and Cheshire Cat.

He... doesn't mind it as much as he could, which is a combination of knowing it could have been coming ahead of time plus the fact that he trusts most of the people who were in there plus the fact that one of the effects people had was increasing his depression/apathy which means he's sort of resigned to things. :'D He is mostly glad that no one got badly hurt or saw anything that made them hate him, because both of those things seem like pretty high possibilities to him. He is a little unsure about strangers being in his heart but Spitfire seems like a good kid, so whatever. HE STILL NEEDS TO TALK TO MITCHELL ABOUT IT THOUGH.

If we had another cohabitation game who would you want your teams to cohabit with. :|a

Uuuuum gosh idk. Not counting Raven's heart game... I really enjoyed Kiriko's drinking game last week! And probably the Anansi game that was Raven's very first game in Aather should go on the list too, for team bonding. And then... I am not sure! Possibly Mother Goose's deaging game. But that is not making judgments on the games themselves so much as the fact that those are the ones I actually got to play in that did something interesting for my characters, so it is pretty selfish. And I think I've only actually played in like ten games or so, give or take some takehomes.

SAME QUESTION.

A major theme in Vesperia is lawful vs. chaotic! You see this in a few ways, most notably with the knights vs. the guilds and Flynn vs. Yuri. The Imperial Knights work for the Empire and have rules and organization and are shiny and pretty but also pretty seriously corrupt in places. The guilds are people who have renounced their empire and set up their own sort of... anarchic co-op group of gangs, all with their own internal rules. Flynn is a knight who is trying to rise up in the knights and change the system from inside! Yuri quit the knights after like three months because it wasn't his style and ended up vigilante killing some corrupt people and eventually forming a guild (Brave Vesperia). It's pretty interestingly done though, because neither side is obviously just being dumb in the way you see sometimes. It's clear that there's not an easy solution and some tactics just work better at different times/for different people.

I FIND THIS PARTICULARLY INTERESTING FOR RAVEN because he was born a noble/became a knight/admires people who are knights, but in canon he thinks he was a terrible knight and is a lot more comfortable on the chaotic side of things. :|a

Also I just love the party. LIKE I enjoy other Tales games too but I am pretty sure most of the Vesperia party hits my character pings more than any of the characters in Abyss or Symphonia. Which is mostly a me thing but still. They are all smart and kind of snarky and not very good at talking about their feelings. Except for Estelle who is the earnest sheltered princess but she is still the best. She has read SO MANY BOOKS. And there are like five different friendly sadomasochistic dynamics among them. And they work together as a party amazingly well.

TELL ME SOME GAMES YOU HAVE ENJOYED or just. Things you enjoy about games. So I can recommend other xbox games to you.

YOU SHOULD REALLY PLAY MASS EFFECT. Especially Mass Effect 2. It is all about screwed up people and badass girls and I really enjoy the battle mechanics. :|a It is kind of a shooter but not entirely. And some of the missions are very survival horror-y. I guess there aren't really any fwippy guys though... unless you count the brooding amphibious alien whose whole race is in service to another and who was raised to be an assassin and is slowly dying of a lung ailment that requires him to keep his shirt open at all times. Offhand, you might also enjoy Eternal Sonata although that... kind of goes off the rails at the end. And there are a lot of psychological things I haven't played but which are supposed to be great, like Braid. And I guess Portal/Portal 2 which I haven't gotten through completely yet because I keep playing a few hours of Portal and then stalling.

An xbox does a lot of things other than play games! The main other thing that I use mine for is watching stuff - if you put AVI files on a USB drive and plug them into the xbox you can watch them on your TV, for instance. And as of recently you can run Hulu on an xbox so we have been watching Naruto that way. It is pretty sweet. Theoretically if you have a windows machine you could also stream video straight from your computer to the xbox but apparently the wireless network in my house is not good enough for that. There are also a lot of dumb arcade games you can download that you wouldn't normally think of as xbox games, in case you ever want to like... play Scrabble or Uno on your television. And I am sure it has other features I don't ever use.

IMAGINE that Raven actually had a relationship with one or more of your characters. What would it be like.

I dunno! I think Tiger's Eye has been pretty great. I think it's really interesting how they have become dere supportive team despite the fact that Asch, Mitchell and Raven could all very easily have... not done that. Sometimes I think of what would have happened if I had apped Raven as a knight, buuuut I don't think I could have handled it and I think having the team support was a better decision anyway. :|a Being on a more antagonistic/crazy team would have been pretty interesting, though. Like, I was thinking about Raven on Ruby the other day because TE was joking about trading for Konatsu and I don't... know how he would have dealt with being placed on Ruby! He would, probably, he would just have ended up way way different than he is now. But I am not sure that is more interesting, just differently interesting.

SAME QUESTION FOR YOURS.
